Introduction
This web site describes the activities of Technical Committee
2.1 of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and
Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE). It does not present
official positions of the Society nor reflect Society policy.
ASHRAE is not responsible for this site's content. To learn
more about ASHRAE activities on an international level, contact
the ASHRAE home page at http://www.ashrae.org.
The primary purpose of this site is to provide a means for
TC 2.1 members to share information in an efficient and timely
manner. In accordance with ASHRAE policies for TC home pages,
a web site editor must be appointed by the TC and that individual
is responsible for material that appears on this page. Additionally,
ASHRAE policy also states that material that appears on this
site must be approved by the TC Chair. Approved material may
be sent directly to the web page editor. Any TC 2.1 members
that wish to have other material placed on this page should
first review the policies and then contact the TC 2.1 chair
to request approval. At the present time, we can accept text,
pdf, or html material only.
Scope
This committee is concerned with the relationship of man's
living environment, as altered by air-conditioning, heating
and ventilating systems, to his comfort, health, and productivity.
Information
It is the technical committee's intent to keep this web site
complete with all of the pertinent information regarding to
physiology and the human environment. If you have any questions
regarding this technical committee, please do feel free to
contact the chair or vice-chair listed on the membership
page. If you have any comments or suggestions about this webpage,
